The Margins of Romance

A roaming Soul is a Soul
Born twice
Once alive, once died
A ghost lost in space,
With prayers to find a place,
In time.

A romantic Soul is a Soul
Once born,
Who lives within their own time,
Within the boundaries of her own
Rhyme.

-Lillian Artman Hagenah

I guess this poem can relate to anyone within a certain state of artistic expression, you can either just roam away in search of something greater or find what's greater within your own self.

In this poem, I will add that the word "romantic" by definition means a romanticist: one with a wild imagination and artistic expression.

  1. Its so pretty!Yes,its a ''pretty'' poem.Pretty is my favourite adjective at the moment. I love the kind of poems you write. They are simple and yet convey such depth by means of few but very beautiful words. So you're the romantic here-its apt for you. The photos a brilliant as usual, dear.
