I LOVE THIS! All of these are in my favourite romcoms list. Life is interesting with characters like these.

Napolean Dynamite (okay that's not in my fav romcom list, but I love it still) and Harold and Maude (the best).
ReplyDeleteI love Carey Grant and would usually route for him, however, I feel as though gravity was pulling all of the girls' magnet leach-like passions towards Jimmy Stewart in this movie.

My point for this was that all of these movies are made up of characters with serious personality idiosyncrasies, but the opposite leading character always seemed to love them for it. This in many ways could mirror real life (or real life could try to mirror this). It made me think that it really only is interesting being interesting when other people are interested.
