I was looking through my comments today and saw that I overlooked this one amazing comment:
"This is sheer brilliance in a cup. This post makes me want to cut your head off, devour your brain, and drink your blood from a diamond-crusted goblet, so that I can attain the mystical powers of genius that you seem to express throughout the entirety of this blog. Your prose makes my thighs both burn red hot, and pulsate in an unholy cadence of desire for your gifts."
Too bad this comment is anonymous. I could have written a very detailed police report.
And, hello to you, my beautiful followers! I understand I cannot tread into and out of your life at my reckless liesure, but accept my inconsistant 'hello"s as nothing more than painting in the blank spaces of our relationship.
Please forgive me, I am in college now, which is my exuse for not updating my life, as well. I am thinking about minoring in Middle Eastern Studies and doing a joint major in written arts (poetry, playwriting, nonfiction) and philosophy, though I'm still not entirely sure.
I am still debating on whether I should keep this blog as I look through all of my old poetry with a brown paper bag at hand. I wish I could post some of my new poetry on here, however, you would know a great poem of mine when you don't, which is to say I would never post work I am proud of on a public domain in fears it might be stolen.
Perhaps I could use this blog as a height chart, watching the inches grow to a myriad of points of no return. I suppose no matter how much I try, I could never own a blog that represents to entirety of who I am today, but that is somehow my goal. Please give me ideas. Thanks!
Look at the cosmos. They are our endless desire to grasp things!
Of course I wrote that.. okay no, not really. It's almost as though Humbert Humbert and Hannibal Lecter procreated somehow and their kid commented very eloquently.
I think you should keep it and however sporadically, write your brilliant stuff, for me, young Humbert-Lecter, and others like us.
Haha! I know, right? I suppose the ego he had inflated in my, through the breath of his poems would be big enough to take him on if he ever were to behead me.
And I think I will keep this blog. So many people have moved onto tumblr, people keep moving, keep grasping towards something new to be something new, but I'll stick with the old and constantly become something new.
And thank you for following me! Now, off to check out your blog, Nikhat!
Okay, I think I will quote you at some point. I love it. I actually have a tumblr, but it's only to reblog other people's pictures. It has no sense really, total randomness and chaos. It's bloody addictive too.
SHE'S BACK! Seriously someone actually wrote that? You take good care of yourself,in case there's a stalker lurking around! PLEASE DO STICK TO BLOGGER. I don't know,I don't like Tumblr too much. Its just people reblogging other people. The scope for creativity seems rather narrow, somehow. ''So many people have moved onto tumblr, people keep moving, keep grasping towards something new to be something new, but I'll stick with the old and constantly become something new.'' That my friend,is poetry right there.
